New Year’s resolutions have a tendency to fall to the wayside early in the year or never even get off the ground. Find the tools to succeed on Tuesdays, January 8-29, 6:30 p.m., at Millard Branch, 13214 Westwood Ln. “New Year, New You” programs will offer tips for reaching your organizational, business and nutritional goals. A different topic will be addressed each week.
- Jan. 8 – Get Organized and Simplify Your Life – Whether you need a gentle nudge to tackle clutter or simply don’t know where to start, certified professional organizer Jen Bartelt has tips for you.
- Jan. 15 – Meal Planning Success – Would you like to spend less time in the kitchen, save money, and eat healthier? Nicole McDonald of momsavesmoney.net will share successful meal planning tips, including how to set up a meal plan, easy cook-ahead meals, food preservation, and yummy recipes.
- Jan. 22 – Creating a Business You Love – Entrepreneur Megan Hunt will discuss how she turned her favorite hobbies into creative businesses. Hunt’s company, Princess Lasertron, creates bridal bouquets and designs. Hunt is also co-founder of Hello Holiday, an online boutique offering new and vintage clothing and accessories.
- Jan. 29 – Make the Good Life a Reality: Learn to Live Well – Gain insights into becoming and/or remaining a lifelong, active individual. This workshop, presented by fitness specialist Peter Pellerito, will provide a variety of unique perspectives on physical activity. This educational and entertaining program encourages participants to look at their lives, world, and physical activity in new ways.
